Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a close working relationship with dealer parts departments to achieve parts sales goals and objectives, while maintaining network consistency
  • Lead/develop aftersales business strategy in terms of product, pricing, network format and channel, promotion etc.
  • Ensure parts availability based upon machine population in addition to sales history
  • Ensure proper gross-to-net pricing for parts according to market analysis and business strategy
  • Assist dealer personnel in identifying and developing key parts accounts
  • Drive parts sales and e-commerce revenue growth
  • Prepare quotations for large parts orders and bid opportunities
  • Manage part warranty return process
  • Be the point person to resolve disputes regarding part warranty's and customer service issues
  • Review claim information provided and, working independently or with other departments, process claims per established guidelines.
  • Maintain e-commerce platform and develop new content for it
  • Use M2M, Aptean and Excel software to complete administrative duties
  • Plan and manage the annual budget
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed
  • Evaluate the performance of team members and provide regular feedback and development talks
  • Develop/implement standard parts offers and programs for dealers
  • Develop, maintain and update any internal procedures for customer service, direct and ecommerce parts sales, shipping and receiving.
  • Travel to customer, dealer and trade-show locations as needed (<5% travel required)

Job Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to learn quickly and resolve unique challenges

Desired Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above (major in sales, marketing, e-commerce or business administration preferred)
  • 3 or more years of experience in truck, heavy or industrial equipment parts after-sales business a plus
  • 2 or more years of parts sales & marketing and/or aftersales business planning experience
  • Managerial experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of parts pricing and discount planning
  • Good understanding of finance and corporate accounting
  • Strong leadership in managing people and tasks
  • Excellent business and sales planning skills
  • Good knowledge and experience in budget and resource planning
